Max Neustadt is an industrial Designer with a craftsman background and a strong ambition to challenge aesthetic and technological standards. MNiD studio seeks to work with people and companies who share its passion for functional simplicity and attentively crafted goods.


After completing an apprenticeship as a carpenter, Max Neustadt first studied interior design and later obtained a master's degree in product design at ÉCAL in Switzerland.

He gained his first professional experience as a developer at the German furniture manufacturer Nils Holger Moormann. He subsequently worked in different studios and roles, ranging from assistant to Stefan Diez to Senior Project Designer at FPM in Munich. Since 2018 he has been running his own studio, designing products, furniture, and exhibitions. He has been a teaching furniture design and product-photography at the Design Department of Univerity of Applied Sciences in Rosenheim, since 2023 has been teaching Industrial Design at the State Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart (ABK)

Since 2022 he has been developing Edition 33, an award-winning furniture brand that has gained increasing recognition on the international design scene.
