Interior Innovation Award 2014

“This”-Chair, is a more economical and accessible follow-up to “Houdini”, the plywood chair designed by Diez Office for the same brand in 2009. We simplified the complex construction and reduced it to a single wooden backbone to which all elements are rigidly attached. While retaining the lightness and curved lines of its predecessor, the chair offers a softer and more approachable expression, improves comfort, and significantly facilitates manufacturing. The project received the Interior Innovation Award 2014 and has since become an important part of the e15 collection.
