An ultralight touring ski boot developed for Austrian brand Fischer Sports. My intention as the lead designer was to reconcile high-performance engineering with a familiar and intuitive boot typology. Formally, the project draws inspiration from the curved track of a skier descending through an untouched slope, translating this dynamic gesture into structural logic. The boot deliberately references the visual language of a classic leather mountain boot, anchoring a highly technical piece of sports equipment in a culturally legible tradition. Introduced in 2015 it has since become a reference point in alpine touring equipment. In 2016, the year of its market launch, it was awarded the the IF Award in Gold and the Red Dot Best of the Best
